This course covers the REALTOR Code of Ethics of the National Association of REALTORS in its entirety. Students will learn about the Preamble to the Code, the 17 Articles of the Code and their respective Standards of Practice, as well as the Pathways to Professionalism.

This course addresses issues of diversity, fair housing, ethics, and cultural differences. All four subjects are closely related and have value for real estate professionals who must serve diverse local markets.
By observing a typical investor, this program covers the 1031 exchange process including deadlines, like- kind requirements, pitfalls to avoid, and other basic issues. It then goes deeper and covers creative exchange opportunities involving easements, transferrable development rights, oil/gas/mineral rights, TICs and DSTs, reverse and improvement exchanges, and other 1031 exchange related issues.
“Uncovering Hidden Listings with 1031 Exchanges” reviews the basic rules of Section 1031 exchanges. We then move onto a discussion of techniques that real estate professionals have used to include Section 1031 in their business development and generate listings that did not previously exist.
You will learn:
